The Works rubbing

We're Looking forward to announcing some exciting stuff at our studio The Works in 2012 including some informal artist drop in gatherings with a 'What if' * style brief up for discussion. They'll be free to all who'd like to network with other artists and musicians and talk about collaborations, bonkers (or not) ideas for projects etc. There'll be no cost, free tea, coffee etc.....probably biscuits....maybe cake.

We'll get the first date out to you soon and then see if anyone shows up to lounge around talking nonsense with us and other like minded types.....in our experience nonsense often yeilds the best and most exciting plans.

Nothing ventured and all that!

The Works

* For those who don't know, 'What if' was a brilliant book made and published by our friends at the Island 2000 Trust. The book displayed a wonderous variety of creative ideas for works of public art around the Island by Island artists and crafters who were asked the following question.....What if you could do whatever you wanted on the Islands esplanades...what would you do?

We still use 'What if' for inspiration today.
