Isle of Wight Zoo

Last week saw the completion of our project in Paignton Devon to make an interactive play water feature based on giant millipedes. Next up is a project at the Isle of Wight Zoo to create another prehistoric interactive feature this time based on extinct giant lemurs and the like.

East meets West

What makes this next project different from any other we've done for a private client is that we're going to work with local schools during the research and design phase of the project. This student design work will then lead to the actual building of the exhibit at the zoo. We don't know of any attraction that has done this before so hat's off to the Isle of Wight Zoo. Now we're really looking forward to getting things underway in the next couple of weeks.

If you're a school on the Isle of Wight and would like to get involved please get in touch as quickly as you can as workshop places are limited. If you're successful in securing a place the Eccleston George team and the zoo's education team will come to your school to deliver the design workshops. The prehistoric themed workshops will cover research into Madagascar's fauna, coming up with ideas for the interactive exhibit, designinging the exhibit with drawings and models. Site visits are possible if you have access to a coach or bus.
